Great bumper
I bought this bumper for my son when he was three months old. It's a great way to keep arms, legs, and pacifiers in the crib! My husband "tested" the bumper's breath-ability when I first put it on the crib. He said you can definitely breath through it.

Also, it was very simple to place on the crib. I bought the sage bumper, and I absolutely love the color. It matches our Winnie the Pooh nursery perfectly! (My son is now five months old, and I'm still completely happy with this purchase!)

Just Okay
I can only use part of the bumper, as my crib isn't slatted all the way around - but has solid wood on the two end sides. I didn't realize this wouldn't work for that type of crib when I bought it, so be sure you know that it will work for your crib.

I've been using the front portion for the crib for the last month and while I like that it isn't bulky and stuffed, like most crib bumpers, it does tend to slide down a lot in between the mattress and the crib. Each night, I have to pull it back up. It gets the job done, but it's not my favorite.

Peace of mind
For safety reasons, experts recommend that you don't use stuffed bumpers inside of the crib because they believe it increases the risk of SIDS. However, my son was one of those babies that was throwing his limbs out of the crib at night and getting stuck. This bumper works great. Very easy to install.

Note is does come in two pieces to accommodate cribs that have drop fronts. Ours didn't so I used the longer three sided piece for the front and put the single piece in the back so that there weren't any holes in the front. It has held up really well and still looks nice. Ours is the sage green color which looks nice, but I wish they had more colors.
