Unique 2-Stage shower water filter is US Patented, has a high filtering capacity and is easy to install. No tools necessary, although pliers may be helpful. The granular copper/zinc and coconut shell carbon replaceable water filter effectively removes Chlorine, reduces VOC's, heavy metals and other chemicals.

Stage 1 removes chlorine and enhances pH balance with a natural copper/ zinc mineral media called KDF-55D. The second water filtration stage uses a carbonized coconut shell media for the removal of synthetic chemicals and VOCs that vaporize and can be inhaled or absorbed through the skin potentially causing adverse health and cosmetic effects.

*After* checkout and purchase in their website, they showed a thank you note and asked me if I would like to get 'water for life'. by mistake I clicked that and they *instantly* billed 47$ and sent me the two filter catridges (which I can't even use without purchasing their $799 reverse osmosis product). I have sent the item back to them and paid $8.04 to UPS shipping. $8 is my $8 and it matters to me. I don't know if I will get back the $47.

More than a must-have...
Doesn't change water pressure at all but it DOES help those with chlorine allergies/sensitivities, acne, asthma, eczema and more. Our family has been using the shower filter for a number of years.

It is effective in filtering both city water (chlorine) and/or well-water (iron). It works equally well with both hard and/or soft water. Easy to install and maintain. Thanks to Aquasana's shower filter our family's health has improved in numerous ways. Just try it - you'll see...

simply amazing
Prior to using this filter our hot water in the shower had a very strong chlorine smell and it didn't feel pleasant on your skin. My wife also feels that the chlorine and other contaminants made her skin break out. Now, the smell is gone, the water feels great on our skin, and her skin has been much clearer. It is easy to install and use, is maintenance free, and is reasonably priced.
